Tableau Server

Tableau Server can be deployed on premise or in public or private cloud. There are two type of users for server: Explorers and Viewers. Explorers can perform self-service analytics, build their own visualizations or edit existing visualization published by Creators. Viewers can perform guided analytics and interact with visualizations published by Creators or Explorers through filters and drill-downs.

Tableau Data Management

Data Management is a Tableau Server Add-On used used to enhance the data preparation and data governance process. Tableau Prep Conductor is used to automate the data cleaning and preparation process and is already available. Data Cataloging will be used to manage the relationships between data and the analytical content and will be made available soon.


Tableau Creator: $75 user/month | billed annually

Tableau Explorer: $42 user/month | billed annually

Tableau Viewer: $15 user/month | billed annually

Ask Data

With Ask Data the business users can type directly the business questions in a human language format and Tableau NLP (Natural Language Processing) functionality will publish directly the appropriate graph answering the question.

Resource Monitoring Tool for Tableau Server on Linux

Proactively monitor and troubleshoot server health with improved visibility into hardware and software performance with the Resource Monitoring Tool as part of the Server Management Add-on, now available for Linux deployments.

Now you can capitalize on the visualizations created by data analytics by publishing them to the server  the entire organization has access to them. Web-based users can collaborate, analyze the data or continue the self-service analytical process by editing the visualizations in a secured environment. Notifications and alarms can be setup.

All the data sources are accesible from the server. The data represhing process can be scheduled on a periodic basis.

Integration with Active Directory, Kerbers, Oauth is available by a simple configuration. Raw level security is restricting the information only to the appropriate roles. Access can also be granted or restricted at site, project or visualization level.

Tableau Prep Conductor is part of Data Management Add-On to the Tableau Server and allows you to publish and run on Tableau Server or Tableau Online the data preparation flows previously built with Tableau Prep. On server the data flows can be scheduled and monitored accordingly.

Easy deployment on premise, private or public cloud (Amazon Web Services, Azure or Google Cloud Platform). Both Windows and Linux operating systems are supported.
